Matters relating to Industrial Policy; Policy, evaluation and monitoring in respect of items related to Chemicals, Fertilizer, Pesticides, Cement, Mining Industry, Ghee/Cooking oil, Solvent extraction, Leather, Leather goods, Sports goods, Surgical Instruments, Paper & Pulp, Hotel, any other industry not allocated elsewhere.
Matters relating to Trade Policy; negotiations of bilateral, regional or multilateral trade arrangements pertaining to non-agriculture market access; WTO existing commitments and future negotiations of Non Agricultural Market Access, non-tariff barriers etc.
Public Sector Development Programme. Examination of all development projects conceived by Ministry, its attached Departments and Corporations/Organizations. Clearance of the projects from DDWP, CDWP, ECNEC, Priority Committee, NEC etc.
Watch over price trend of essential items. Preparation of monthly growth rate of 37 Large Scale Manufacturing Items.
